White Elk Folder

Friction folder with 600 layer random Damascus blade by maker, forged of 1095, 1080, and 15n20 steel. Exceptional blade steel activity in the pattern, and faded hamon line. Wide, flat, and thick blade grind can do anything from fine slicing to heavy wood carving due to its straight-razor style tang design, which is inherently strong by nature. 

Tang is “scooped” and also hardened, enabling it to be used for various utility needs as well. Carved North American elk horn one-piece handle, Damascus steel pivot pin and nut.

This knife is mated to a cowhide and elk horn (the same elk in fact) holster by maker, in right-handed (rear) cross-draw configuration.
